These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Food Runner mobile game and this website (together, “the Game”). By downloading, installing or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Game. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Game with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Licence to play
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent the Game or any part of it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the Game’s source code, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Use the Game for any unlawful purpose.
3. Fair play & conduct
Keep the road fair for every runner. You agree not to:
- Use cheats, bots, hacks, modified clients or any unauthorised third-party software.
- Exploit bugs or glitches to gain an unfair advantage — please report them to us instead.
- Manipulate leaderboards or scores.
- Choose display names that are offensive, hateful, or impersonate others.
We may reset scores, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend access for players who break these rules.
4. Virtual items & purchases
The Game may include virtual items such as coins, cheese, runners, skins and power-ups, some of which can be earned through play or bought with real money.
- Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to other players.
- You receive a limited licence to use virtual items within the Game; you do not own them.
- Purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Refunds are handled by the app store according to its policies, except where the law requires otherwise.
- We may change, rebalance or remove virtual items as the Game evolves.
5. Ads & third-party services
The Game may display ads and rely on third-party services such as app stores, leaderboards and analytics. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
6. Intellectual property
The Game, including its characters (Cheesy, Burger, Egg, Banana, Samosa and friends), artwork, music, sounds, code and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.
7. Termination
You can stop playing at any time and may ask us to delete your account on the Delete Account page. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. When your access ends, your licence to the Game and any virtual items ends too, and unused virtual items are not refundable except where the law requires.
8. Disclaimers
The Game is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Game will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, and we may change, pause or discontinue the Game or any feature at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, progress or virtual items, arising from your use of the Game. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, may notify you in the Game. Continuing to play after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your country/state], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of any mandatory laws of the country where you live.
